Yearly Ministry Theme

For the 2017-2018 ministry year, as we celebrate seventy-five years of Biblical research, teaching, and fellowship, our focus will be The Word of God Is the Will of God. Throughout the year, our teachers will help us understand God’s Word, not only so that we can do His will but also so that we can share the truth with others, bringing light to a dark world. As we do, we will strengthen ourselves and help other people know the will of God, get the deliverance they need, and live with abundance and power.

God has never left Himself without witness (Acts 14:17). He made Himself and His will known to man even before the Word was written down.

Hebrews 1:1:
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past….

One of the divers manners, or varied ways, in which God spoke was through the signs given in the heavens. The top of our theme poster depicts the sun and the moon, the two great lights mentioned in Genesis 1:16. Above the planet earth are stars representing Virgo and Leo, two constellations associated with the coming of the redeemer.

The three main figures in the poster depict different ways God’s Word has been communicated at sundry, or various, times. Moses with the engraved tablets of stone signifies the Word given by way of the Old Testament law. Jesus Christ was the living Word, the Word manifested in the flesh (John 1:14). The Apostle Paul represents the Grace Administration, the time period we live in now, in which the written standard is the seven Church Epistles.

Ephesians 3:4:
Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ.

At the center of the poster is the Bible, the written Word that we have available to us. As we understand the Word and will of God, act on it, and hold it forth to others, we will bring God’s light to this world.
