“There’s a correlation with looking on the things of others, humbling yourself, not making it all about you, and God working in you to will and to do of His good pleasure, because He wants to take care of the people around you, too! And you can be that person that gets to do that. That’s what really makes life exciting, and that’s what really got me excited about becoming a leader, was seeing God work in me to help other people.”
Taylor Thurlow interviews Nic Sullwold in this episode, and they talk all things leadership, with a special focus on young leaders rising up to this privilege and responsibility. Nic is a young Way Corps minister with The Way International. He shares how he chose to step into ministry as a form of servant leadership, what that journey was like for him, and the qualities good leaders should value according to God’s Word. Placing emphasis on humility, service, and looking on the things of others, Nic gives a beautiful picture of what a leader can be for God’s people.
